Frolic & Lark is a licensed child care center created to give children a safe, welcoming place to spend their day. Our environment is calm, thoughtfully designed, and centered around helping children feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.
With nearly five years of experience in early childhood education, I've built Frolic & Lark around the kind of care I'd want for my own family. I am enrolled in Oregon's Central Background Registry (CBR), registered with the Oregon Registry Online (ORO), and meet all required training and professional development standards. Frolic & Lark is licensed through the Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC), ensuring our program meets Oregon's standards for health, safety, and quality care.
Our team is made up of qualified, caring professionals who understand child development and show up with patience, presence, and genuine care. We take the time to build real relationships with each child so they feel secure and supported.
We believe high-quality care is about more than supervision. It's about creating a space where children feel seen, where they can explore at their own pace, and where they are gently guided as they grow. Play is a big part of what we do, along with simple routines that help children settle in and feel confident.
At Frolic & Lark, the goal is simple: a space that feels steady, warm, and easy. A place where children can be themselves and families can feel good about the care they receive.

Flexible care, designed for real life.
Need a few uninterrupted hours? Whether you're working, running errands, attending appointments, or simply taking a little time for yourself, our Morning Play Program gives your toddler a safe, engaging place to spend the morning. Designed for children ages 1-3 years, our licensed child care program combines imaginative play, sensory exploration, movement, creative activities, and social interaction in a warm, welcoming environment created just for little ones.

How It Works
Our Morning Play Program is built around recurring weekly schedules, giving your child the comfort of a familiar routine while providing your family with dependable, part-time care.
During enrollment, you'll choose the number of mornings your child will attend each week and select your recurring days based on availability. Your child's place is reserved each week, ensuring consistent care while allowing us to maintain small group sizes and exceptional teacher-to-child ratios.

A Morning Designed for Play
Every morning is thoughtfully planned to balance active play, creativity, exploration, and quiet moments. Children enjoy age-appropriate activities, build confidence, develop friendships, and experience the joy of learning through play. Each morning includes a nutritious snack and a light meal to keep little ones fueled for a fun-filled day.
Quality Care in a Small Group Setting
As a licensed child care center, we maintain a low 2:8 teacher-to-child ratio, allowing our staff to provide attentive supervision, meaningful interactions, and individualized support throughout the morning.
Enrollment
Because Frolic & Lark is a licensed child care center, enrollment paperwork must be completed before your child's first day. Forms can be completed online before your first visit or in person at the studio. If completing paperwork on-site, please allow 15 to 20 minutes before your scheduled drop-off. Once your enrollment is complete, your child's information will remain securely on file, making future schedule changes and additional reservations quick and convenient.
Need an Extra Morning?
Life doesn't always go according to plan, and we're here to help when we can.
Enrolled families receive priority access to reserve an extra morning outside of their regular schedule when space is available. Any remaining openings are then offered to new families by reservation.
Extra Morning Care is based on availability and cannot be guaranteed, but we'll always do our best to accommodate your family's needs.

After-School Care
Easy afternoons start here.
Our after-school program is designed for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade and provides a steady, welcoming place to land each afternoon.
Care is available Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, with transportation coordinated through the Warrenton School District bus system for added convenience.

Enrollment is limited to maintain a consistent group and ensure each child receives attention and support throughout the afternoon.
Monthly tuition reserves your child’s space in the program and is not based on daily attendance. This allows us to provide reliable staffing and a predictable routine for the children in our care.
Because we are a licensed center, all enrollment paperwork must be completed before your child’s first day. Forms can be completed online in advance and are kept on file for the school year.
Our afternoons are structured to give children time to unwind, connect, and engage in play after a full day of school, with staff present to guide, support, and create a positive environment.
